Mabintech LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates paylinea, a personal finance app designed to help you stay on top of your bills and spending. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Account info: Email address and password when you sign up
Support requests: Any information you share when contacting us

Financial information via Plaid

When you connect your bank accounts, we use Plaid Inc. to securely access your financial data. By using paylinea, you authorize us and Plaid to retrieve:

Account names, types, and balances
Transaction history (date, amount, merchant, category)
Account and routing numbers for verification only

Automatic information

Device info: Device type, OS, identifiers
Usage patterns: Features used, time in app
Push tokens: To send you timely alerts

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Find and track your recurring bills
Calculate your "Safe to Spend" amount
Send helpful reminders about upcoming bills and low balances
Show you where your money is going
Improve the app and fix issues
Respond when you reach out for help

3. How We Share Your Information

We don't sell your data. We may share information:

With Plaid: To connect and retrieve your bank data
When required by law: Court orders or legal requests
With your consent: When you explicitly approve

4. Security

We protect your information with:

TLS encryption for all data in transit
Encryption at rest for sensitive data
No storage of bank login credentials (handled by Plaid)
Regular security reviews

5. Data Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account anytime. We'll remove your personal data within 30 days, though some info may be retained for legal purposes.

6. Your Rights

You can:

Access a copy of your data
Correct inaccurate information
Delete your account and data
Disconnect your bank accounts anytime
Turn off push notifications in your device settings

7. California Residents

Under CCPA, you have the right to know what data we collect, request deletion, and opt out of data sales (we don't sell your data).

8. Children

paylinea is for people 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use means you accept the updates.
